TOMMY LEE's Solo Album To Feature Guest Appearances By STEVEN TYLER, SLASH

February 9, 2005

UPI News Service is reporting that MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee's upcoming solo album features guest appearances by AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler, VELVET REVOLVER's Slash, Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION),members of GOOD CHARLOTTE and BACKSTREET BOYS' Nick Carter.

The album will coincide with Lee's NBC reality series, "Tommy Lee Goes to College", which premieres in June.

The show, which was filmed last fall, follows the tattooed drummer as he studies, auditions for the marching band and attends Cornhusker games at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Though he's not supposed to divulge details about the show, Lee did say he tried the Greek life during his short stay last year at the University of Lincoln-Nebraska.

"I started my own frat, the House of Lee," he says. "I did everything you could possibly do in the college life. I had a great time doing it because I never got a chance to go to college before."

MÖTLEY CRÜE kicks off a world tour Monday in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
